The NINOX multi-disciplinary team is ready to support our customer´s needs and requirements all the way from project inception to a remote tower operation. Whether the ambition is a single virtual tower at an airport or centralizing the service provision for a number of airports to a Remote Tower Centre, the partners of the NINOX team have the required knowledge, experience and resources to support the entire process. Our customers may be Airport Operators or Air Navigation Service Providers with different strategies, needs and requirements. Through the combined expertise of the NINOX partners, we can ensure a complete and ready-to-run remote tower system, regardless of size, complexity or traffic levels.
All airports are different and any specific operational and regulatory requirements will be taken into account as well as the actual operation of the ATC-unit itself. Through a structured and systematic approach, we will guide our customers through their process of transition into a safe and efficient ATC service delivery – on site or from a remote location. During this process, we develop alternatives for the location of the optical sensors required for the operation, and propose changes to infrastructure for communication, surveillance, meteorological sensors or airport lighting, which is important to take into consideration before moving on with a project.
Through our large-scale program delivered in Norway, we have gained valuable experience in the design, construction and preparation of Remote Tower control facilities.
